Cost:
All three weekends for certification – $1200
Single class – $500
CE Credit:
12 hours available for self- reporting states
(Iowa, Illinois, Montana, Nebraska- a verification letter will be sent out on the completion of hours. It is the responsibility of the DC to know the rules and regulations of his or her state with regards to qualified courses).
Refund policy:
There are no refunds for classes, however, credit will be given for future classes taught by Dr. Zogg.
Certification:
To become certified in the Thompson technique recognized by the j clay Thompson technique foundation, students must complete 36 class hours, pass a written exam 80% or higher and pass a practical exam 80% or higher. This certification does not qualify you as a “certified instructor.” If you are interested in becoming a certified instructor, please contact the foundation at thompsonfoundation@yahoo.com for details.
What to bring:
You are welcome to bring a portable table for the hands-on portion of the class. Coffee, water and snacks will be provided in the classroom, but feel free to bring food if you would like. Lunch will be brought in on Saturday. No food or drink is allowed in the exhibit area of the building. The environmental learning center features aquariums, natural history exhibits, live snakes and turtles, an outdoor raptor enclosure, walking trails and a pond. No pets are allowed in the building. There is ample parking in front of the building.
